Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya(JNV) : Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has released the application form for class 11 .Admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) for Science, Commerce, Vocational and Humanities streams. Candidates should apply through the official website of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, navodaya.gov.in till 18 August.
Admission Process : On the basis of marks obtained in 10th
According to an official statement, “Admissions are being made on the basis of marks obtained by the students in class 10 board examination during the academic session 2021-22 for the vacant seats in class 11 under the admissions of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.”
Students will get extra weightage if :
As per the official notification, district wise merit list will be prepared, and students will be selected to fill these vacant seats. After selecting the students for admission on the vacant seats of JNVs available in the district, a common merit list will be prepared at the state level. Students who are from NCC, Scouts & Guides, Sports and Games will get extra weightage.
For admission in class 11, the date of birth of the candidates should be between 1st June 2005 to 31st May 2007 (both days inclusive). It is applicable to all categories of candidates including candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
