Government Employees Salary – Holi Bonanza to Central Government Employees – Government may merge the 50% of Dearness Allowance (DA) to Basic pay though the DA is 100% since Jan 2014. Union Cabinet expected to include the proposal as part of 7th pay commission.
What I believe, government not able to justify since the long pending demand of Bankers are still pending with mere 1% increase ? A complete discrimination.
Whether it is an election agenda or what ever but As per practice, DA is merged with basic pay when it breaches the 50% mark, merging could lead to hike in salary by around 30-35%.
It is expected that the move will be completed by next month.
