Google layoffs 453 Indian Employees

Google layoffs 453 Indian Employees from various departments in India. Google CEO Sundar Pichai had sent the communication through eMail to the employees, stating that he took “full responsibility for the decisions of layoff.”

“We’ve already sent a separate email to employees in the US who are affected. In other countries, this process will take longer due to local laws and practices,” he had said.

Last month, Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google had announced to fire 12,000 employees, or 6 per cent of its total headcount.  Other than google there are few IT giants like Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, and Amazon announced massive layoff exercises.
