UGC NET 2012 Answer Key Management, Cutoff Discussion

Answer key UGC NET 2012 – Management Paper, University Grant Commission (UGC) exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Lectureship was conducted on 30th December 2012. Answer key for Paper I, Paper II and Paper III is available now for Management Subjects.

This year onward just clearing the cutoff would not be sufficient for the eligibility of Lectureship. This is decided that only top 15% of total qualified candidates in UGC NET 2012 will be eligible for the Lectureship.

This year also Management Paper II and III were average type and well enough to score high marks. I believe that cutoff would be around 78-82% for eligibility of lectureship.Candidates may share their own score. We will try to analyze the cutoff.

  1. its 176 for management in OBC. What r chances for clear net???

  2. In ugc provisional key for managment paper 2, question no 14,15,16 has answer C but it should be B,D,D respectively. same with question no 31,46 it should be A and D respectively. Please revert with the correct answer.

    thanks

  3. I am scoring 212 marks in management .What are my chances to qualify for lectureship only?

  4. I Believe there were 3 wrong questions in Paper II – 29,30 and 38, and one wrong question in paper III – 60. Whats your say on this ?

    • what would be the correct answer …

      • Paper I

29 should by D, as the number of constraints in a transportation problem is always one less than total number of boundary conditions (n+m), this is because the equality condition of a balanced transportation problem reduces the constraints by one. Hence the answer is n+m-1= 14

30 should be D. This is so lame. Were the ugc people sleeping while giving answers.

38 is C. In concentric diversification a company acquires business in a related area. It can't be the answer.

        Paper II
        60 should be B.

        • in paper 3
          Mgt
          2– B total cost,
          58 – Fringe benifits
          70- Job specification
          74-b BCG matrix

        • It is (m+n-1) only in case of a balanced transportation problem (ie. total availability= total demand condition is satisfied). However in the concerned question, it was not mentioned as to whether the transportation problem is balanced or unbalanced. We can come across unbalanced transportation also.

        • what you are saying is that the answer cannot be a definitive within the paradigm of the information supplied in the question. In that case the question in vague.

  5. My Scores
    Paper I – 72 (72%)
    Paper II – 72 (72%)
    Paper III – 104( 69%)
    Overall – 70.8%
    My Category SC,
What are the chances of me getting Lecturership only? ( I believer JRF in not possible)

  6. 227 for OBC is enough to qualify?

  7. Plz tel .. My chances 4 fr general category..
