Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL) exam for recruitment of Management Trainee in Admin & Technical was over today.As usual, SAIL has asked the question on previous pattern i.e. time consuming and lengthy. Question were rather average type but the time allotted for the exam were not justified with the length of questions.
In Aptitude section many question were tough and lengthy, lot of calculation and formula required for this section. Similarly General Awareness paper was covering the constitutional & Economics question which is not at all under the pattern of SAIL. Both the section will have low cutoff as expected.
All the candidates may discuss their expected marks here and we will try to aggregate the expected cutoff marks based on the sampling method. This is totally based on the believe that a Candidate who attend the exam can tell better about his/her performance. Answer key will be published based on the Memory later.
We request all the candidates of SAIL MT (EXAM) to share their expected marks so that we can calculate the expected cutoff and You can get more time for preparation of your interview.
hi guys!!! when will be sail result published..cutoff for the ECE will be around 110-120.As the tech paper was tough.

The cutoff will be around 120.In non tech part GK was tough all other sections were comparatively easier.Quant was little bit calculative.As there is sectional cutoff i.e for 5 sections cut off will be around
1.Technical : 55-60
2.GK : 12-13
3.English :15-16
4. DI & Reasoning : 15-18
5. Quant : 12-13
so u can see the cutoff wud vary between 115 (little greater than lower sum of all cutoff ) and 125 ( little greater than higher sum of all sections). This is based on completely my assumption.!!!
any ideas wrt BIS exam cut-off whic was held on 23 oct. of metallurgy stream

It was clearly mentioned that dere wud be sectional as sub-sectional cut off..
I have passed out MBA in 2008 as of now i have no work ex, plz let me know wud dere be any problem in selection if i get through both written and GD/PI

cut off will be
section/paper-I 55(approx), paper-II 60(apporx) overall cutoff will be around 125. Notice there were only two sections so the cutoff. There is no sense of sub-sectional cutoff like math english or gk. they will count this all in only one section.
Result will be published around 8-10th of november. Good luck !!!!!!!!
