Bihar Public Service Competitive Examination conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) consist of two stages:

This time new vacancies are created for 53rd, 54th, and 55th Combined PT exam. Total vacancies are for 257. This may go up depends on Original number of vacancy created after final examination and Interview.
This time BPSC was average type since question were asked as per expected pattern except some question which were asked ridiculously from geography.
I think cutoff will go little higher for BPSC 2011 about 79-85.
Exam Timing and Patterns
Objective Questions – 150 (General Studies Only)
Time – 2 hrs
Question were asked mainly from the areas like
Indian History ( From the paleolithic age, Harrappan civilization, Vedic Age, Sangam Age, Maurya Age, Medieval history, Indian freedom history, and modern history etc.)
History of Bihar ( From the paleolithic age, Harrappan civilization, Vedic Age, Lord Buddha, Lord Mahavir, Magadh Empire, Maurya Age, Medieval history, Indian freedom history, and modern history etc.)
Sports Event, Recent Development work in Bihar , culture of Bihar , National and International Game Events , Agricultural and Industrial Growth of India and Bihar , Planning Commission , Indian Budget , All welfare program running by Central and State Government , Population survey, World and Indian Geography , Geography of Bihar ,Indian Economics, Indian Constitution , Bihar Economics after Freedom, Famous personality of Bihar

& the second thing is in mains exam can i opt zoology & anthropology as an option paper together???????
BPSC cutoff for this year for general category will definitely be 101 or 102
HOW CAN U KNOW ABOUT OTHERS SCORE? HAVE YOU EVER SEEN BPSC PREVIOUS RESULTS? FIRST SEE THE HISTORY THEN COMMENT. I HAVE APPEARED THREE TIMES IN MAINS AND NEVER IN THE LAST THREE EXAMS CUTOFF WERE ABOVE 100. SO DON'T HURT ANYBODY'S EMOTIONS. IT MAY BE 100 BUT HOW CAN ANYBODY COMMENT WITHOUT KNOWING OTHERS PERFORMENCE

"Dear Sir,
Already half of the 1st half of July has passed. The pain of wait is unbearable. Can’t you please give an exact date of result and tentative date of Mains? "

The BPSC has conducted a meeting on Tuesday and as per the sources PT result will be out at any time.
Probable cut off- 96
Probable mains selection - 14000
Probable Mains date - Oct. - Nov.

well. you are right. cut off would remain in the range of 95 to 100, favouring the lower limit.

gud morning all of you ,i give exact information about bpsc pt cutoff it is obivious cutoff will be high 104-106 its reason are result only 10 times of vacant seat ,2nd is only 6 qn delete while previous year 14 qn ,it is authentic any confusion or those have main optional subject math and physics plz email unik.amit@gmail.com ,p so all dear friend main exam also have hard cutoff ,do hard work for main , all the best
