All India Sainik School Entrance Examination for admission to Class VI and IX standards of Sainik School Rewa
Class VI: For admission to class VI, boys should be in the age group of 10 and 11 years. They should have passed class V .
Class IX: For admission to class IX, boys should be in the age group of 13 to 14 years . They should have passed class VIII .
Vacancies: There will be approximately 80 vacancies for class VI and 05 for class IX. Of these, there is a reservation of 25% for sons of Defence & ExDefence personnels, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST candidates and 33% for other states candidates.
Sainik School Rewa Application Form & Prospectus: Prospectus and Application Form may be obtained from the School on payment of Rs. 300/- for General, OBC, Army Personnel and Exservicemen (Army, Navy, Air Force) and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST candidates by Demand Draft in favour of “Principal, Sainik School Rewa”, payable at Punjab National Bank, Extension Counter, Rewa. Those desirous of obtaining the Prospectus by post should send a DD of Rs. 400/- for General, OBC, Army Personnel and Exservicemen (Army, Navy, Air Force) and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates.
Sainik School, Rewa does not patronise or deal with any tout or coaching institute for admissions or any other purpose. Parents are to beware of any promises made by touts / coaching institutes. Admission will be made strictly as per merit in written exam, interview and medical exam will be conducted at Military Hospital Jabalpur only.
Limited previous years question papers are available for sale at the School counter on payment of Rs. 25/- for Class VI and Rs. 50/- for Class IX each. These are only for guidance and are not to be construed as model question papers, as the pattern may be changed without further notice.

Sainik school entrance exam applicant age limits should be suitable for all areas in india, for example applicant who born on 1st Oct 2000 &studing 4th standard can not apply for this exam. So, age limit starting date should be 6months earlier & ending date should b 6 months later to existing age limits. Because schools do not not accept even we wish to join our kids in LKG too early.
