Jio Prime Subscription Membership Plan – Complete Guide

Reliance Jio Prime Subscription membership plan is a new scheme which is launched by Reliance chairman Mr. Mukesh Ambani for their 100 million subscriber base. This introductory offer will end the Jio Happy New year welcome Plan. All the existing users of Jio have been given time frame between 01st March to 31st March, 2017 to enroll for this new Jio Prime subscription plan.

The existing user of other telecom players are having a month time to switch over to Jio. After wards Jio would n’t be available for subscription. With the launch of Jio Prime Subscription offers, Jio Happy new year welcome offers will not be extended after 31st March this year.

All those existing users of Jio who doesn’t buy the new plan, will not be able to use the free Data.

This is not clear yet because it remains to be seen how many users actually opt for the Jio Prime subscription plan but this new plan has changed the way telecom industry was not expecting especially the rivals like AirTel, Vodafone, Idea, Aircel , BSNL etc. 

What are the Benefit of Subscribing the Jio Prime Subscription Membership Plan

Any of the user who has bought the Jio sim or intended to switch by 31st March this year , upon buying Jio Prime membership, a user has to pay a one-time fee of Rs 99.00. After that, the customer has to pre-pay Rs 303.00 per month to enjoy 30 GB of data every month along with free calls that are available without the Jio Prime membership and with just owning a Jio 4G sim. There will be free calling even on roaming also.

The Jio Prime membership is valid till March 31, 2018.

What happens if I do not sign up for Jio Prime?

If you choose to not opt for Jio Prime, Subscriber will be given option for  Jio postpaid or prepaid plan and will have to pay for data and other services, but not voice calls including on roaming. Jio has also promised to announced  the best-selling data offers by rival operators. 

The company will have a variety of pay options that subscribers can choose from. Users can continue to have free-calling facility with an entry monthly post-paid tariff of Rs 149 (that gives 300 MB data), Rs 499 (4 GB data), and this plan can go up to Rs 4,999 that offers 75 GB of 4G data.
