Mechanical paper for GATE 2013 was little bit at tougher side. Question were tricky and confusing. The cutoff for mechanical would go little lower as compared to previous year. Last year the cutoff for Mechanical was 30.0 for general category. This year it is expected that cutoff would be around 28-29.

i am expecting 35 marks in gate, is there any choice of getting IIT?
I am expecting around 40.66 in GATE 2013 mechanical engineering..What are my chances for gen category?
I am expecting around 55 marks in the gate 2013 mechanical paper. can some one tell me if i have any chances for IIT.
Ofcourse you have fair chance to get iits cause 55 marks this year mean much more than the last year and you can also check cut off marks for iits these marks fall within the score you are going to get. So dont worry....:-)
