MBA ADMISSIONS 2010-2012
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the 2-year (4-semester) full-time MBA programme 2010 at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and the BIT Extension Centres at Jaipur, Kolkata, Lalpur and Noida.
Applicant must have appeared in CAT-2009 and must hold a recognized Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 10+2+3) in any discipline. Those with B.Sc/BA/B.Com Honours must have minimum 55% marks in average (45% for SC/ST) in their Honours subject. Those of other Graduate courses must have minimum 55% marks (45% for SC/ST) in Graduation computed as average of marks of all subjects in which candidate had appeared (excluding optional subjects). Those graduating in 2010 can also apply provided they have at least 55% marks (45% for SC/ST) at the time of applying. They must submit mark sheets by 31st October 2010.
Those who have acquired qualifications through correspondence or distance learning Programmes are eligible only if they acquired such qualifications as working professional and have passed the Programme. In addition, applicant should have Verbal Percentile of at lesat 40 (25 for SC/ST) and total Percentile of at least 40 (25 for SC/ST) in CAT 2009.Provisional selection will be based on Total percentile in CAT 2009.

Printout of the application filled online along with the necessary enclosures and a Crossed DD for RS.1200/- drawn in favour of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi should reach ‘Dean, Admissions, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi-835215’, by 7th May, 2010.
