IBPS CWE Clerk Selection Procedure

IBPS CWE Clerk Selection Procedure –  Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) recruitment of Common Written Exam (CWE) is conducted each year for recruitment of clerks in 19 PSB  Public Sector Banks.

Based on the previous year data it is expected taht every year almost 10-12000 candidates are selected to various banks based on the IBPS CWE Clerk online written exam.

IBPS has common selection procedure for recruitment of clerks in Banks i.e.

Phase I : Online Written Test of 200 marks , check for IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern Details

Phase II : Interview

Based on the total marks scored in written test + Interview the final merit list are prepared for the successful candidates and allotted the different banks.

IBPS Common Written Examination for Clerks : The written exam which is conducted for clerks are 200 marks for two hours.Candidates need to score minimum score in each of the section and in aggregate to qualify in the exam for written test.

Only Risk Weighted score are considered in IBPS exam for selection.

IBPS Interviews: with a slight change in procedure where earlier the interview are conducted by different banks, now the IBPS itself conduct the interview for all the successful candidates for total of  100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks in interview is 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD/ EXSM candidates). 

A successful candidates of both written test and interview are listed in merit list and based on the number of vacancies by each bank the candidates are alloted the job as a clerk in respected banks as per the choice of candidates.
