Book IRCTC Rail Ticket Through SMS by 01st July 2013. IRCTC the subsidiary of Indian Railways announced that the effort are made to make the ticket booking on run through SMS has been made.
The SMS Rail Ticket booking services will be start from start of July 2013.The fees that will be charged to avail the services will be around 10-15 rupees.
How To Book Rail Ticket Through SMS ?
1. Register Your Mobile Number with Bank
2. Get Mobile money identification code or MMID
3. Get a password to authorize the Payment
4. For Booking Ticket send the information of travel as in train number, destination and travel date to the IRCTC
5. Sender will received a transaction ID on same registered mobile.
6. Then he will have to send another SMS with message PAY followed by the ID, MMID received from the bank and the password.
7. Get the Details of Ticket Booked
8. Keep the SMS and Enjoy the Travel.
