  1. i completely disagree with the analysis done above…
    1. Question of the CWE 2012 were easy but very lengthy *(it was very-2 difficult as well as lenghty)

    2. Reasoning paper was little tougher than previous year *( Reasoning paper was lot tougher than previous year..and very much a time killer…coz u end up wasting a time without getting a answer in most of the questions)

    3. Banking & Financial Awareness were confusing *(unexpected and less significant questions were asked in place of the important and expected questions…for eg…there were more than few questions on where this summit or conference held *(location of very ordinary events) and hardly any question from budget or economic survey…

    4. Many of the candidates found the descriptive paper topics little tougher *(descriptive was not tough…it was at par with last ibps….may b stress of objective paper made it tougher)

    5. math paper was very easy *(maths was extremely lenghty and one could hardly manage 20 questions according to the time letf for it)

this is my personal but i feel correct analysis…kindly comment whether u feels the same or different…

    • very very true my dear friend.i think this year po exam was very tough especially reasoning.all section question asked were tough and lenthy.seems that ibps intention was 2 fail candidate rather them 2 qualify.i dont know what was in the mind of question setter but definitely he was an idiot .how can one set question like this.this ibps po exam has wasted candidate precious one year.now i think that bank should take individual exam as was earlier.IBPS should be removed.

    • yes u r right i also feel like you.

    • Thanks for elaborating….

  2. i had done 40 general awareness, 40 computers, 38 english, 29 maths and only 22 reasoning,can i expect a call..

  3. ibps mins only weast yur time or nothing..

  4. it was very though & time consuming paper.i think cut off will be low than previous year………

  5. Reasoning section is very tough. questions are lengthy. all questions given as information related questions. some questions like coding-decoding had not given dis time.english (descriptive) is not tough. i agree with Mr. Piyush Parikh opinion. bcoz, bankina awareness and computer awareness questions are very confuising. i think 1/3 rd of candidates may not passed in dis time.overall, as per my analysis it was very toogh.

  6. All the section was too tough,I think IBPS should consider the over all Merit not individual, othewise only 1% perople will get pass.

  7. who posted this above matter. I had given previous ibps and got 160 marks but didn’t get any call from bank. So this time i thought to improve my marks but it was disastrous. I mean maths was so lenghty and tough than previous one and this was the news in newspaper also that the paper was tough than the ibps-1.

how could cut off be high?
