SSC 2012 – CGL Combined Graduate Level Exam Notifications, Apply Online

CGL-Combined Graduate Level Examination,2012 , Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is holding an all India exam for recruitment of various posts with various departments including ministries on Two Dates at 01-07-2012 and 08-07-2012 for prelims. Combined Graduate Level (Tier-II) Examination, 2012 will be held on SATURDAY 15th September, 2012 and on SUNDAY, the 16th September, 2012.

The Examination will comprise of two Tiers of Written Objective Type examination followed by Computer Proficiency Test/ Interview/Skill test for many posts. All the posts are sub divided in to two part Group B posts and Group C posts.

APPLICATION FEE: RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY(Rs 100)

Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee as per extant Government orders.

The candidates submitting their applications On-Line should pay the requisite fee only through State Bank of India Challan or on-line account with SBI. Challan form will be generated on-line (please also see Annexure-II B for instructions for filling on-line application.

For Offline application one need to send it via CRFS Stamps Duly Cancelled from any post offices.

THE FACILITY OF ON-LINE APPLICATION WILL BE AVAILABLE UPTO 17.04.2012 (5:00 PM) FOR PART-I REGISTRATION AND FOR PART-II REGISTRATION UPTO 20.04.2012 (5.00 P.M.).

AGE LIMIT as on 1st January,2012 (01.01.2012) 

There are various age fixed for various category of posts like For :

Inspector of Income Tax/ Inspector (Central Excise)/ Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector (Examiner)/ Inspector of Posts/ Assistant Enforcement Officer/ Compiler/ Divisional Accountant/ Auditors/ UDCs /Tax Assistants/ Junior Accountant & Accountant : AGE LIMIT FIXED AS  —  18-27 years

Statistical Investigator Gr.II :  AGE LIMIT Not exceeding 26 years

Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI : AGE LIMIT 20-27 years

Qualifications :

i) Compiler : Bachelor?s Degree with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject from any recognized University.
ii) Statistical Investigator Grade – II Bachelor?s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects.
OR
Bachelor?s Degree with Mathematics( with Statistics as a papers studied in one year/two years/all three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
OR
Bachelor?s Degree with Economics ( with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.
OR
Bachelor?s Degree with Commerce (with Statistics as a paper studied in one year/two years/all the three years as the case may be) as one of the main subjects.

iii) All other Posts: Bachelor?s Degree (Graduation Degree) from a recognized University or equivalent. .

Note I: For posts of Assistants(CSS), computer proficiency has also been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.

NOTE :  As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No. 44 dated 01.03.1995 published in Gazette of India edition dated 08.04.1995, the Degree obtained through open Universities/Distance Education Mode needs to be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU.

Accordingly, unless such Degrees had been recognized for the period when the candidates acquired the relevant qualification, they will not be accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification.

Note  : Candidates who do not have the educational qualification as on the closing date of receipt of application (20.04.2012) but are appearing/intend to appear in the final examinations may also apply.

However, they should acquire the prescribed qualification on or before 01.08.2012 , failing which their candidature will be cancelled.

    • Don't worry, after your final selection i.e after clearing tier-2 they again ask you for your choices on a different final form.. Plz go through the complete details of notification.. it is written their about the change of preferences.. just prepare for your tier-1 n do well.. all the best..
