IGENIUS Scholarships Programme 2010 Result, Details

Designed by renowned quiz expert, Derek O’Brien, the igenius Scholarship Programme is a novel initiative to reward multi-faceted children who are brilliant at both academics and extracurricular activities.

Through this programme, Max New York Life aims to nurture your child’s all-round personality development.

The scholarship programme is open for all students from classes 3 to 8 of government recognized schools including private, public or national open schools all over India.

This level is decided basis the class the participant is on April 1, 2010 or thereafter as per the school session for 2010-2011. The participant must be an Indian national The registrations are open between 8th February, 2010 to 31st March, 2010 except for the School Contact Programme No participation or other fee is required to be paid for participating in the programme.

Igenius Scholarship Stages:

There are 4 stages in total:

  • Stage 1 : Registration from 8th February, 2010 to 31st March, 2010 & Online/Offline Test from 1st April, 2010 to 31st July, 2010.
  • Stage 2 : Offline test in 24 cities/Online test from 1st August, 2010 to 30th September, 2010 for shortlisted candidates from Stage 1.
  • Stage 3 : Panel discussion of shortlisted candidates from Stage 2 via web-link (in 30-cities, these include the 24 cities of the school contact programme and the top 6 metros, viz., New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru) between September-October 2010.
  • Stage 4 : Grand Finale at New Delhi on 14th November 2010 for shortlisted candidates from Stage 3.

    Igenius Scholarship Amount

  • Top Scholarship (1 for each category): Rs. 20 Lakh
  • 2nd Prize (25 for each category) : Rs. 1 Lakh
  • 3rd Prize (120 for each category): Rs. 10,000/-
  • Consolation prizes (1500 for each category): Rs.3,000/-
