Admission to Paramedical/Allied Health Sciences Programmes 2010

IGNOU invites applications for the following Degree/Oiploma/Post Graduate Certificate Programmes in Paramedical/Allied Health Sciences:

B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT)
B.Sc in Medical Record Science and Health Information Technology (BMRHIT)
B.Sc in Optometry and Ophthalmic Techniques/Technology (BSCHOT)
B.Sc in Radiation Therapy Technology (BRTT)
B.Sc in Medical Imaging Technology (BMIT)
B.Sc in Anaesthesia and Critical Care Technology (BACT)
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
Diploma in Optometry (DOPT)
Diploma in Radio Imaging Technology (DRIT)
Online Post Graduate Certificate in Health Insurance (PGCHI)
Online Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Informatics (PGCMI)
Online Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Laws (PGCML)
Online Post Graduate Certificate in Quality Management in Healthcare (PGCQM)

All the above Bachelor Degree/Diploma Programmes are full time face to face. Post Graduate Certificate Programmes will be offered through online mode only. The University will be admitting the students for the above degree/diplomas in Paramedical/Allied Health Sciences Programmes starting from July 2010 Session.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
For BMLT/PMLT Programme: 10+2 or its equivalent with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum 45% marks or 10+2 with Medical Laboratory Technology (Vocational). For BMRHIT Programme: 10+2 or its equivalent with minimum 45% marks (Science students will be given preference). For Other Programmes: 10+2 or its equivalent with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum 45% marks, Minimum age 17 years as on 1st July 2010. Medium of Instruction: English. For Post Graduate Certificate Programmes: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized University/Institution. Minimum age: No bar. Medium of Instruction: English

HOW TO APPLY
The Student Handbook & Prospectus for the Paramedical/Allied Health Sciences Programmes – 2010 can be obtained from the Registrar (SRD) IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi -110068 and also from all Regional Centres of IGNOU (please see addresses from the website ) by sending a sum of Rs. 150/- through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi/city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying Rs. 100/- in cash at the respective sale counters. Please write your name and address on the back of the Demand Draft.
