Youngest Man to Appoint as RBI Governor : Raghuram Rajan. 50 years old IIT-D+IIM-A+MIT Gold Medalist Raghuram G. Rajan took over as the 23rd Governor of the Reserve Bank of India .
He formerly served as the president of the American Finance Association and was the chief economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). He was economic adviser to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
