Basic Training Certificate (BTC), is the basic certification required for the Teaching in primary school of Uttar Pradesh (UP). BTC is conducted by SCERT via DIET and other institute authorized by NCTE. Candidates applying for Teacher eligibility Test (TET) must have the BTC certification. Various service Training of for Teachers are :
BTC – training duration 2 year diploma course
VBTC – training duration 6 months – Vishist BTC or special BTC
Urdu BTC training duration 2 yrs
Para Teachers
Candidates must have graduated from recognized university with minimum 50% marks (relaxation as per rules).
Age limit: 18- 30 age on 1st July for gen and 35 yrs for others

Selection Procedure : Based on the marks of High school, intermediate and graduation
Application Form Fee : Rs 400 for others and for Rs 200 for Reserved Categories
