State bank of India (SBI) india’s largest bank has published the recruitment vacancy for the post of Assistant and Clerks which is published in the month of January 2017. Earlier in the year 2011 the similar vacancies were published by SBI – HERE .
This year 2017, the SBI has published the vacancies for 9500 Clerks, out of which 1100 vacancies are backlog for reserve categories. The last date for applying the SBI clerks job is 10-02-2018.

For Vacancies in 2011
The total number of vacancy has been revised to 9500 from the 3100 previously declared. Out of 9100 vacancy there are 1000 Stenographer vacancies also.
The exam date for the SBI clerks has also been postponed from 18-03-2012 to further. Now exam will be conducted on two date 27-05-2012 and 03-06-2012. All the Eligible candidates must Apply Online on or before 26-03-2012.
How To Apply Online :
Application process are divided in to Two part : 1) all such candidates who already applied earlier and 2) all such candidates who will apply afresh
CANDIDATES WHO HAVE REGISTERED BETWEEN 28.12.2011 TO 20.01.2012 earlier follow the below steps :
1. One time EDIT option to change the choice of STATE and EXAMINATION CENTRE due to the revised vacancy position. Login with your registration ID and Password or DOB
2. Enter the new details and Save.
3. Candidates can additionally apply for the post of Stenographer (English/Hindi).
4. For new candidates apply online with all details.
Age Limit: 18 years to 28 years as on 01-12-2011
Educational Qualification: Completed Graduation OR 12th Standard with 60% marks OR Diploma after 10th
Application Fees :
Rs. 350 for Assistant Post | Rs. 500/- for Assistant and Stenographer (English or Hindi) Post | Rs. 650 for Assistant and Stenographer (English and Hindi) Post.|
SC/ST/EXSM/PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 50/-.
For candidates who have applied previously need to pay application fee of Rs. 150/- for Assistant and Stenographer (English or Hindi) Post and Rs. 300/- for Assistant and Stenographer (English and Hindi) Post.
No fee for SC/ST/EXSM/PWD candidates.
Pay the fees either via challan or Online. Candidates will get the SMS alert for confirmation of fees payment.
