Bank of India Recruitment of 1800 Probationary Officers (PO) Through IBPS ScoreCard

India’s leading Public Sector Bank with its Head Office in Mumbai, invites applications for recruitment of 1800 General Banking Officers in Scale- I. The recruitment for PO will be entirely based on the candidates performance in CWE exam conducted by IBPS. It is available for all the candidates who qualified the IBPS CWE exam. All such candidates may apply through online from 19.01.2012 to 31.01.2012.

Application Fees :

For SC/ST/PWD/Ex-service-men Candidates : NIL

For All Others : Rs 200 as a Bank Challan

IBPS SCORE REQUIREMENT: Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) :

Minimum 130 – For General Category

 Minimum 117 – For Reserved Category  (i.e SC/ST/OBC/PWD)

 STRUCTURE OF INTERVIEW :

 Interview Marks :  Maximum marks for interview will be 100. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 50% for General Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD category.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

Graduate with minimum 60% marks in AGGREGATE from UGC recognized University. The Eligibility criteria is based on the following criteria :

The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional / additional optional subject, if any. 

This will be applicable for those Universities also where Rank / Class / Grade is decided on basis of honors marks only.

NOTE : The percentage of marks in fraction will not be rounded up on higher side (i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%).

Selection Procedure

Merit list of the candidates based on the marks obtained by them in Common Written Test [i.e. 250 Marks (Objective Test & Descriptive Test)] and Personal Interview of 100 Marks will be prepared in descending order on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained, under the respective SC / ST / OBC / GEN Category.

The final selection will be made on the basis of this merit list.
