IBPS Common Written Test 2011 (CWE) for Probationary Officer (PO)/ Management Trainee(MT)

Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection (IBPS) planned to conduct All India Single exam which will be known as Common Written Test (CWE) for recruitment to various Public Sector Banks is now executed.

IBPS has come up with the advertisement of  Recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainee (MT) in 19 Public Sector Banks in India.

There are all about 19 Public Sector Banks in India who has joined with IBPS for single recruitment exam except State Bank of India (SBI) who has planned to conduct their own test.

Procedure Of Exam

1. A single Exam Common Written Test (CWE) will be conducted twice in All India

2. A score card will be issued by IBPS to participating candidates. Management Trainee & P.O.  Selection will be made by individual bank.

3. Each bank will notify its vacancy separately and the eligibility criteria will be determined by the bank.

  1. What about the attempt? Like it said it will happen twice in a year.
    So if we take the exam on 18 sep are we elligible to take the exam on jan?

    • Bank Industries it means all the relevant information related to banking in terms of micro and Macro economics like monetary policy, Repo, reverse repo, SLR etc…..Growth, Business, profit and market capitalization.

  6. sir ,approx how many questions we have to attempt for getting thru the cutoff ?is the paper tougher than they were in previous banks ?

  7. pls anyone tell me, in which bank i can deposit fee….OBC and CORPORATION BANK told me that fees of this exam can be deposited only in BANK OF INDIA and no other bank as it is written bank of india in the coloumn of name of the bank in NEFT cash voucher…..is that true?…pls guide me

    • Hi,it is true..u have to get NEFT from only Bank of India.You may do it ASAP as 30/31st is th last date..

    • They are telling lies or they don't want to work, just put a complaint here at http://Indianexamforum.com , It is clearly mentioned at CWE website at ibps.in that Fees can be deposited via any of the 19 banks mentioned in the advertisement Via NEFT providing details…..If they are not doing it just talk to higher authority………They have to do this….
